In WP.one, your website is secured with automatic daily backups. Each backup is stored for 30 days. If your website breaks or you lose some of its data for any reason, the easy way to fix this is to restore a backup in your WP.one dashboard.
Restoring a backup
Note: If you restore a backup, all content on your website will be overwritten to match the content of the chosen backup date. Any elements that are present on your current site, but not present in that backup, will be removed when the backup is restored.
1. Log in to WP.one.
2. Click on the Sites tab at the top and select the site you want to restore a backup for.
3. Click the Backups tab in the left-hand menu.
4. You can now see a list of the available backups. Click the three dots icon on the right side of the backup you want to restore.
5. In the menu that opens, click Restore to production if you want to restore the backup to your live website, or Restore to staging, if you want to restore it to your staging environment.
6. In the pop-up window, choose whether you want to restore database, files or both. Write your main domain and click Restore to confirm.
Downloading a backup
You can also download backups to save them to your own device or other location. This can be useful if you want to store a backup for more than 30 days.
1. Go to the Backups page as shown above, and click the three dots icon next to the backup which you want to download.
5. In the menu that opens, click Download all as .zip or Download database, depending on which backups you want to download.
