All WP.one plans include WP Rocket, a premium WordPress plugin that can help improve your website's performance. In this guide, we'll tell you more about WP Rocket's features.
What is WP Rocket?
WP Rocket is an easy-to-use plugin that can make your website load faster, improving its user experience. For a quick introduction, watch the video below:
WP Rocket features
WP Rocket includes the following features:
-
Page caching
Through page caching, your website content is saved to HTML files. This enables your website to load faster. -
Browser caching
Browser caching means that your website files are stored locally in the user's browser. This reduces the amount of data that needs to be downloaded when the user visits your site again. -
Cache preloading
After making changes to your website, WP Rocket automatically preloads the cache. This means that your visitors will immediately see your site's cached version. -
GZIP compression
Compressing reduces the size of your website files, making them load faster. This improves the loading time of your website. -
LazyLoading
With LazyLoading, images are not loaded until they appear on the user's screen. This improves both the perceived performance and the actual performance of the website. -
Database optimisation
The cleaner your database, the faster it loads. WP Rocket offers multiple options for optimising your database. -
E-commerce optimisation
By excluding e-commerce pages from the cache, the caching won't interfere with purchasing processes within your online shop.
