This article will show you how to easily manage your DNS settings in the WP.one dashboard, simplifying your online operations. You can redirect your domain or subdomain to a designated destination with DNS. This can involve forwarding it to another server, IP address, a different domain, or even a mail server.
What is DNS?
DNS, which stands for Domain Name System, translates user-friendly web addresses like www.example.com into computer-readable IP addresses like 192.168.1.1, enabling devices to connect to websites and online services easily.
But DNS does more than just connect domain names to IP addresses; it also gives you control over your online presence by allowing you to point your domain or subdomain to different destinations. DNS makes the internet accessible and user-friendly.
